He had no choice but to move up because he couldn't keep draining himself to beat up midgets. He was supposed to crush Maidana, who in his last relevant fight was beaten handily by Devon Alexander. Paulie was garbage at that point and had arguably lost his previous fight. He tried to drain Porter with a catchweight.

People always want to attribute guys moving up as being brave, when the majority of the time those fighters are moving up because they can't make the weight cut anymore. I'd love to see Broner try and make 130lbs again.....

Before Broner moved up he already won his title. Let GGG finish what he started at 160. Before he moves up.

Since when do u have to move up, when fans that dont even like u decide you need to?

GGG is mandatory for that belt.....moving up before he gets that belt would waste all he did at 160.
