After the Quillin/Jacobs fight, there was a video by TBV, where Nes interviewed Jacobs' trainer - Roizer at 1:45, Roizer rated Lemieux as higher than Quillin or Danny. But what does he know....

      • Even though Jacobs has a weak chin, he'd put up a better fight than Canelo. He has a better chance of scoring an upset with his power.

I dont know why it took me so long but I've come to realize most posters on here aren't actual fans. I'd say 10% are actual fans while the rest are either fans of a certain fighter or what they think they stand for. It's like a gossip site.

Certainly Floyd saying GGG was easy work and that Ward would beat him etc didn't help the cause.

            • If Sergio Mora can drop Jacobs, a GGG jab
might knock him out? It should be interesting
tho, much better than last few opponents GGG has faced.

Danny's fast and active, but he also gets careless. He was swinging with his eyes closed when he KO'd Lorenzo. So yeah, Lee can definitely beat Jacobs and it'd be for a lot less money on an undercard than Danny would get vs Golovkin in a major headline show.

If Danny would rather fight Lee on a undercard than Golovkin in a major show, people criticizing Golovkin better be ready to crucify Jacobs.

With the WBA declaring this, team Jacobs should be pausing their negotiations with Lee until next month when Canelo says "No mas" so that they're open for the Golovkin fight. If Jacobs/Lee is suddenly announced in the next few days... quack, quack, quack - Chickenson style.
I think mora and lee are different style fighters though i will agree lee has more power. Lee is a straight forward 1,2 fighter who has lapses of his own. I think those type of fighters are tailor made for danny even though by no means does that mean he'd dominate every conventional fighter. I think Danny's speed and counter punching would at least get him the w

Did you ever seen GGG brawling desperately, like Quillin did?

Kovalev is the WBC Diamond Champion.
The "diamond" championship doesn't entitle Kovalev to a mandatory defense. It's simply another trinket that Kovalev has to pay out a sanctioning fee to keep.
