GGG was just terrible, out of prime (what prime lol). Time to step down?

I never said he struggled at all. He steamrolled the guy...but his body looked soft, and his punches and the way he moved just didn't look sharp to me. It can all be chalked up to different reasons, but he showed signs of an aging fighter imo. There's people with credibility left around here? I thought it was just a circus of fanboys and trolls trying to piss echother off.Originally posted by Redd Foxx View PostHe worked his ass off against Stevens. He crushed Wade in 2 rounds. Not going to get into a long argument here but people are using a bit of wishful thinking. He absolutely wrecked this dude. Say Wade was garbage. Say Golovkin has a joke resume. But, acting like he struggled tonight only kills your credibility.

I hope this is the case, or as i said in another thread, maybe he did less sparring in camp and needed a couple rounds to get going. He just looked different to me, and if he wasn't almost 35, I'd more readily dismiss it as being unmotivated etc.Originally posted by Cinci Champ View Postlets be honest he knows hes fighting bums just as much as we know he is u think he gets excited?

Yea, he looked soft/bloated for some odd reason. I'd usually suspect PEDs because that's some hormonal imbalance shyt (when your face suddenly gets puffy like that) but I honestly don't think he'd do that for this fight. Still strange though.Originally posted by considerthis View PostI never said he struggled at all. he literally lost his prime fighting against Wade haha
poor guy, I think he ought to try a different sport. Maybe bowling or that sweeping ice **** they do at the olympics, something not too strenous for lil g

You are ****ting me right?Originally posted by SugarRayCurtain View PostLooked fat, slow, uncoordinated and just out of his prime.
He gets hit flush in every damn fight and Wade was no exception, just terrible.
Imagine canelo landing his shots on GGG flush like wade, say goodnight.
Exposed by Bute in amateurs (got a standing 8 count *facepalm*), bashed up and looked terrible against Ouma, hit early by Martin Murray (lol), outboxed and hit flush by Monroe and now looking like dog poop against Wade.
I think this guy needs to save himself and just step down, retire on a low note and just fade into obscurity. Hes earned some money, he ought to buy some land, buy a few cows and start milking asap.
What fight did you see?
Sugar Ray truth be told you either need glasses or rehab!
For your sake I hope you need glasses!

He takes a lot of risks to get in range and establish the correct position to land his shots most effectively. That's what makes him an exciting fighter - he risks getting hit in order to find the correct extension and the perfect opening to make his power punches most effective. His style is partly effective because he gets hit. His opponents see openings, they throw shots, some land which encourages them to throw more, while GGG waits to find the correct position to set up a perfect countershot. It's risky but clever at the same time.

Just stop...Chris Eubank put the kinda guys GGG is fighting out with one punch in the first minute of the first round. GGG has short arms and has to get close unless he's fighting a smaller guy like Lemieux.Originally posted by FlatLine View PostHe takes a lot of risks to get in range and establish the correct position to land his shots most effectively.
