Y'all wouldn't give GGG props either way so he should fight Clottey at 160.

      I agree.

GGG needs to switch networks and promoters. Someone that will get him the fights he's asking for in which the pay will come.

I know you disagree, but GGG needs to be with Haymon and Showtime. He's reached his ceiling with Loeffler who wasn't much. I like Tom Loeffler as a person. He's honest in most of his interviews, whether I agree with him or not, and is very good at explaining his POV. But career wise, I think GGG could be doing better.

If Loeffler got him 1.5 mil as his highest purse, I think Haymon could've gotten him double whatever Tom got.

I like Tom as a person, but as a promoter, he's not cutting it. GGG winning belts by default does nothing for his legacy. At some point, he needs to enter the ring either as an underdog or 50/50 bet.

You don't know I disagree actually. Most of the opponents are on Showtime's side now so there is a good argument for switching network. That said, there's no guarantee Haymon will actually match G against these opponents, his record in the past couple of years isn't pretty.

Canelo is still the ultimate carrot though, no pun. Biggest star currently in boxing.

I'm not afraid to admit that GGG didn't want to fight Ward. I criticized him and his team on the forum after they made that 164 statement.

Ward walked into the ring for the Barrera fight in the low 180s, and Kovalev walks in for his fights in the high 180s/ low 190s.

Neither guy is going to cut the now seemingly 20lbs to make the fight viable, weight wise.

            move on, man

Ward was 185 against Barrera and Kovalev was 183 against Mohammedi. Sergei has come in as heavy as 188 but as low as 181.
