Comments Thread For: Golovkin-Ramirez Possible If GGG's Middleweight Options Vanish

If Gennady Golovkin defeats Dominic Wade and one of his preferred middleweight options doesn't work out, Golovkin's promoter is willing to make a fight against WBO super middleweight champion Gilberto Ramirez.

I'd rather see Rameriz defend his belt 2-3x and build an aura about himself before fighting Golovkin. He's only 25 and he's got a handful of ranked challengers like Nelson, Dunne, and Murdock all the same age as him that he'd look good against.

GGG should go after Jacobs, Eubank, Saunders, Quillin, Lara, Lee (if he beats Jacobs). If Jack beats Bute, the winner of DeGale/Jack is a major fight.

That's more of a Ward and Canelo tactic.
