Joshua's chin looks to be alright, if I'm being honest. It's his recovery ability that sucks big balls. Fury's chin is iffy but he has first rate recuperative powers. That's more important in a fight, IMO.

People act like Whyte caught him with some monster shot. He basically just clipped him once coming in and was too inaccurate to follow up with anything decent and Joshua was still on ***** street for about 2 rounds.
If that was a good finisher like Haye, AJ wouldn't have made it out of that round.

Yes, he came back from getting rocked to take charge of matters and secure the stoppage, which shows character, but it still took him about a round and a half to do. That's poor recovery ability any way you look at it. Maybe it was just shock at getting caught by a shot he wasn't expecting, but the last over muscled guy we had in Bruno reacted the same way, and it was a major problem for him throughout his career.Last edited by The plunger man; 04-23-2016, 04:15 PM.

Originally posted by Steve plunger View Postif your speculating on Joshua's recovery I suggest you speculate more on furys abilty to take big shots because he's the one that's tasted the canvas a couple of times against smaller less powerfull punchers than joshua

Originally posted by Beyonce Bomber View PostIt was a flush left hook, sure, but the way some people talk about it it's like it was the punch of the century. Bruno took about a half dozen similar looking shots from Witherspoon and didn't drop. Hell, Fury took a flush left from Wlad and didn't drop. I'm pretty sure Wlad hits just a wee bit harder than Dillian Whyte.
