Comments Thread For: Amir Khan: Anthony Joshua Would Not Beat Tyson Fury Right Now

Amir Khan believes Tyson Fury would have too much for Anthony Joshua should the pair meet right now. Fury, who holds the IBO/WBA/WBO heavyweight titles, has a rematch with Wladimir Klitshcko on July 9th at the Manchester Arena in Manchester. Joshua will make the first defense of his IBF world title on June 25th at the O2 Arena in London.

Man I don't know what everyone else sees in Fury. I think he's a pure bum.

Never thought I would agree with this glass chinned loud mouth glorified journeyman, but he hit the nail on the head right here.

Could things change in the future? Maybe. But right now, no man born from his mother can beat Tyson Fury. The man is Sweet Pea in Goliath's body. The Achillies of boxing.

Lotta hate out there for Khan, but even so, he's right on this one. Fury will in all likelihood stop or UD Wlad next fight. So how is AJ, Mr Green himself, somehow going to beat THAT? Granted Joshua definitely has a future and a belt no doubt, but this fast-track talk is too soon. He wants no part of Fury for at least several fights, if ever.

I think AJ beats him right now.I thought Tyson fought a good fight against Chisora and used his size advantages well.Against Wlad it was more that Wlad had no plan B and when he couldn't get off with his jab and grab and push down tactics he was snookered Wlad only looked to have Tyson worried in the last two rounds where he desperately looked to win the fight, Tyson held and moved and moved towards the bell and won a clear decision against someone who had no answer to someone with talent his own size.

AJ will be totally different , much faster , harder hitting and FULL of ambition .He would not give Tyson any time to do what Tyson does best , allow him to use his size and fiddle about. I see AJ beating Tyson in about seven after knocking him from pillar to post .

I know Tyson has come on since Cuningham knocked him down but AJ is full of venom and I can't see how Tyson could cope with such ferocity from someone his own size

Pretty sure Khan and Fury are friends, I'd expect him to say this.
