Why do ya'll keep mentioning him? what title eliminator did Wade win? Barrera was Kovalevs mandatory..Wade wasnt GGG'S mandatory johnson was ..Wade was ranked #3 and has not ever fought a 12 round fight

Johnson got hurt, pulled out and the IBF elevated the next guy up as mandatory, as they always do. It's not like Barrera had some amazing resume by beating the great Karo Murat. 12 round fights are title fights, 10 non title unless otherwise negotiated.

That's HBO's decision to make. It's GGG and his team's best interest to try and get HBO to buy the fight. You should be more upset with the IBF and HBO than with 3G.
