Is canelo really a huge ppv star?

Golovkin sure only had 150k buys his first time stepping up but he was never really showcased like canelo was 3 times he faught on Mayweather undercard and once on mosley . 2 other times he was the b side (Mayweather, cotto) the one time he stepped up by himself was vs lara and he did 300k buys. So if 150k buys more makes him an 80/20 split and choice of catch weight. Golovkin has the same right to 80/20 split with ward and choice of weight. (*flamesuit on)

And They used canelo to sell PPV way before he was even headlines them, yes he is a ppv star and pretty much only boxing legit ppv star, outside of joshua maybe he racking up the ppvs across the sea aswell.

Canelo is a bigger cash cow than Cotto

he only accepted the b-side treatment in order to get the prima donna that is Cotto in the ring

No he's not. He never will be unless he starts speaking English.

I think its a easy argument to make he's the biggest in the game right now. Canelo did better numbers last time out than Floyd & Manny (maybe combined) which says a lot by itself. Being that they are out of the game the only real competition is Cotto at this point & Canelo did better numbers with Floyd than Cotto did which should show he's bigger then Cotto. No one else is really in the competition.

He does. Didn't you hear him say "Lets go" or whatever in that commercial where Amir Khan is a superhero.

Supposedly he speaks a lot of English on the downlow, but thinks he sounds ****** or he's not as comfortable with it as he wants to be yet. So English Canelo is coming soon.

Hes sc****s through every single fight he wins
Not the dominant force a PPV star should be like Pacquiao and Mayweather
If GGG steamrolls top opponents like Lara and Canelo he would be a P4P superstar

Seems like he can do 300k as the A-side against unknown opposition. That's pretty good.
