Anyone can make up a story about an athlete especially if there might be money to be gained in a lawsuit. Proving it is another matter entirely.

You guys kill me with this "people are making these stories up" crap. They don't just issue warrants of arrest for kicks. One can get into serious trouble for making false claims of being a victim of a crime. Give me some examples where news of an athlete breaking the law was pure BS. I bet there aren't many.
