Difference is, GGG was willing to drop down a full division and challenge for Floyds belt, and Ward wasn't even willing to go 164, much less MW

Ward hadnt made that weight in years...why fight Chavez n froch at 168 and not Ward? Ward is a better fighter and will be harder to beat...its not that complex man

he was exposed as a complete and utter liar. this has been analyzed to death and ward never wanted the fight and was just trolling. its literally in court records ward vs goosen showing how ward avoided guys like ggg, bute, etc...to try to fight bums like sartison and hbo refused to let him. ward got mad and tried to get out of his promotional contract but the judge sided with his promoter because his promoter was able to get him fights, just not the easy ones ward wanted.

then wards roc nation "offer" in 2015 was completely fake and forced ggg to postpone the canelo fight for a year in a multi fight ward deal. if you want to fight someone you dont say lets fight in a year because i need more tune ups(roc nation admitted this) especially when you know the wbc already said cotto-canelo winner has to fight ggg. like come on. ggg was never going to lock himself up with the big fight possibly next. ward knew this and thats why it wasnt a one fight deal but a multi fight deal that culminated in them fighting

only thing you can say about ggg is that its lame to offer to fight ward at 164 but if you put it into context it makes some sense. ward was fighting on BET and had no power. guys like chavez jr and froch were more popular than ggg when ggg offered to fight them at 168. ggg also offered to fight ward at 168 years before when ward was the a-side and ward turned it down to pursue the easy fights i previously mentioned. all he was doing was playing a-side b-side politics which is slimy but standard. ward had the entire super six rigged in his favor with all home fights, made dawson fight at 168, etc...ward had no mercy when it came to using his a-side power.

he never said ward was too big though so why lie? its literally nowhere in there. nowhere. also his english is clearly terrible. he said andre too much for me, not today. that means he doesnt want to talk about andre ward today, not that he is too good or too big to fight. you know how i know that? because they already tried to fight ward and ward didnt want to. like i said check the court records of ward vs goosen. there is something called context clues that you are unable to read. if you notice how he abruptly moved on from talking about ward, he meant ive heard enough about ward, dont bother me with any ward talk today, he just used the words too much because he has limited English skill. there are countless other interviews with ggg showing him wanting to fight ward but the one time he stumbles on his english and says something wrong, LOOK HES DUCKING! lets ignore all the facts that show ward literally ducking, losing in court to his promoter, getting kicked off hbo, making ****** offers, etc...ggg said something wrong over here! ward didnt duck after all because some guy who barely speaks english said something wrong. thats way more important than actual facts, negotiations, legal decisions, etc...ok buddy
