When you deliberately leave out vital parts of the story regarding him as a fighter recently, it only indicates you made your assessment before referring back to any evidence. Where the evidence is lacking, you'll obscure it enough to try vindicate your biased assessment. Thats kinda embarrassing..

These factors seem conveniently missing from your 'assessment':

Solimon tore his ACL in the mid rounds (5 or 6) of the Taylor fight, yet still managed to fight on despite losing a decision. He isn't a pushover then.

Sturm-Soliman 2 was easily won by Soliman. The first fight was much closer, even though he tested positive for something. Where the robbery was that you mentioned, I have no idea.

Before the injury with Taylor, he last lost in 2008 in a hard fought close match with Mundine (3).

He has a very awkward style with a very good engine, enough to give any prospect/low level contender some trouble. He has proven this over and over again.

He's no dominant world champion, but he's a good test for any top middleweight barring the elite. I'd share the resentment over this bad matchup if GGG opted this as a voluntary, but he didn't. t guess I don't have the playground mentality of picking sides and being a pro or anti-GGG foot soldier..
Compare resumes. Soliman's lost more than Vasyl Lomachenko has fought. That's sad.

I'm not at the point of calling Soliman a bum, but he's high side of a C level fighter, and Wade struggled with him. That's all that matters.

Stylistically, GGG is all wrong for Dominic Wade, and as I said in the other thread, I truly worry for this dude.
