Peterson is a 140 guy, but have recently expressed readiness to fight at welter. He'll most likely take a bum on his 147 debut, then another, then another.

Peterson vs Spence would be an interesting fight. Spence might be a little too big and strong but Pete has a lot of heart and grit.

I won't be bashing Hearn in this case. Dibella made a similar statement first, "Brook would want no part of Spence." So where the hell is Dibella? Why is he not calling Hearn to make the fight happen?

Hearn always angles his comments about guys who are sellable, but threats or arguable threats to Brook cleverly I'll give him that.

Agree. I'd rather Brook was fighting Spence, Peterson or Ruslan of the IBF ranked guy, but Spence vs Peterson is a good fight for Spence's progression so fair play if they make that fight instead of expect Brook to pick a interesting voluntary fight.

How did Peterson get ranked so high? the guys never fought at 147

Peterson will not cause any problems for Brook or Spence, firstly he is a drug cheat, secondly he will not have a home advantage, and lastly, he's not a good boxer.

His career is built off his "strength" which came from drug abuse

He's taken way too much punishment and doesn't deserve a title shot

In all honesty he should have been permanently banned.
