Weight, resume, and all the other excuses mentioned in this thread are irrelevant. The fact that this thread is now 22 pages deep is a testament to the idiocy that permeates this forum.
So if Mike Tyson or Lennox Lewis said Kovalev was easy work you would expect them to come out of retirement and prove it because he opened the door?

Or better yet, if Vitali said so, you'd be calling on him to come out of retirement and prove you correct?

Lol, stop being an idiot! You're embarrassing your family.

GGG would beat Floyd to a pulp and Floyd knows it, all his fans know it.
Old huh? So at 34 is GGG old or young? Most of the top fighters Floyd beat were younger than GGG is now.

This is it. We want to know if Floyd can beat GGG at 160. We don't know. Just cos GGG is favourite to beat fgloyd dfont mean Floyd can't do it!
Just cos its the first time Floyd's been underdog for a long time don't mean he can't win!

If Floyd could overcome the size that would be so good for Floyd historically.

You're calling me the idiot after that reply? Forget the fact that Tyson and Lewis have been out of the game for over a decade while Floyd fought just last year and is constantly fueling rumors about a comeback so they are in no way comparable. And, if Floyd does come back for another fight I doubt you'll be offering me an apology as you should. But, yeah, if anyone said Kovelev would be easy work, I'd expect Kovalev to call them out and say prove it.

GGG is still young, yes. Age is just a number and some people with 34 could be younger than some others at 27 depending on their lifestyle. GGG is not one of these guys who gets hurt/knocked down in fights, nor is he a guy who gets out of shape in between fights or goes to the stripclub and gets high/drunk.

Meant to say Fury instead of Kovalev, anyway, you're still talking out of your ass. Retired is retired irrespective of how long it has been, especially when you're freakin 39 years old after twenty years in the game.

What you're basically implying is that all retired fighters should say "no, that guy would beat the **** of of me" even if they know they get beat them, because if they don't, you will force them to come out of retirement for your own satisfaction.

It's ******, you are ****** for not even realising the implications of your words. In what world is a thirty nine year old boxer not allowed to be retired? And in what world should he say that inferior opposition can beat him out of fear of being forced to unretire after 20 years of pain, sweat, labour, wear, and tear?

                  SMH

Insults and incoherent babble. I can't believe this thread is still going. As I said before, when a man calls another easy work it opens a door. GGG's never been disrespectful to Mayweather who's shown himself to be arrogant and classless. If Floyd thinks GGG would be easy work, and apparently you do as well, then back it up. Otherwise, if Mayweather is truly done, his mouth should join him in retirement.

Father time stops for no man. I've seen plenty of boxers who didn't take much punishment slow down in their mid 30s. Golovkin may have enough to beat the Dominick Wade's of the world but his chances of beating elite level fighters is dwindling with each passing day. Hes never even faced a top fighter as a pro.
