i am pretty sure Floyd was favorite in both fights (can't remember for sure).
I thought you were just talking about posters.

Yes he was favored. I know Floyd's "easy work" pisses a lot of people off, but sometimes he does make easy work of his opponent. I doubt he'd do same with GGG but if he did I'd look forward to the responses afterwards.

i guess i was... but i guess a hater or troll isn't a good reference but majority of sensible posters knew whats up.

If he did that with GGG he would get the usual hate but i know my opinion would change on Floyd ... especially if we see 90% of the usual GGG (154... you never know how GGG would look as far as punch output, stamina and strength)

He said he could make 154 with no problem so to talk about those things afterwards if he lost would be excuse making.

I think some saw Floyd blowing Manny and Canelo out. WHen they posted such they were immediately labeled as trolls and haters. in retrospect they were 100% correct and saw something the rest of us didn't.

So Ward moves up to fight Kov while GGG fights Wade , you couldnt make this BS up lol .
He's calling out a 2x, unified lineal Sww champ at Sww, making a big weight concession. What's the problem?

Get the picture because its as plain as day whats going on , and not only do you condone it you give GGG a free pass for ducking Ward which is a much fairer fight when you weigh up all the relative facts .

Why dont you haters apply the same rules to everyone that you apply to Floyd , gee he fcked your brains out .
I don't even see the size differences between GGG and Mayweather being all that significant (people make too big of a deal with weight sometimes), especially when GGG himself says he'd drop all the way down to 154 to fith him.

            • The reality is that GGG would make quick work of it. Like Chavez vs Uncle Roger, but even more brutal.

Why else does GGG's biggest haters reside in the Floyd groupie camp? They're insecure of GGG since he'd dismantle their manchild daddy in brutal fashion.

True. Floyd probably has a much greater reach. Very long frame, long arms. Shorter torso.

I would not want Floyd to fight Golovkin, for his sake, but it would be interesting to see. Floyd is THAT good. But probably not at his current age.

                • Floyd did say Golovkin is easy work. So why not fight him then?

Remember, fans want to see Floyd get thrown about in the ring like a rag doll. This could shatter all records. Probably bigger than the Pac fight. In short, it's a huge money fight. If you call yourself a businessman, call yourself money and name your company TMT, what is Floyd waiting for?

                  Easy fight, easy money.

Floyd could be right...though he didn't say at what weight. Would he ask Golovkin to drain down to 152? Probably not even possible.

But the thing is, Floyd has fantastic, beautiful skills. He is almost impossible to hit cleanly.

Then again, GGG could possibly break Floyd's arms trying to land a body shot. Or maybe he would develop a crazy overhand right with death in it.

That's the thing. Floyd said Golovkin has "no special effects." But to me, that's a great way to describe Alvarez. Golovin's special effect is definitely his power.

Could Floyd outbox and outspeed Golovkin and show us how easy it is for a great slick boxer? I would LOVE to see that...could be super educational.
