too difficult to guess either way and the fight will never happen because floyds near 40 years old and hasnt had interest in pushing himself for a long time
yeah that's fair. i think anyone who says Golovkin is easy work or GGG makes easy work of floyd is just blowing smoke.

IMO Floyd's style plays into GGG's style, he is a good mover and GGG has the perfect weapon to deal with good movers (ring cutting and body snatching), he also has an excellent Jab which is key of winning vs excellent boxers. Can GGG be outboxed? probably, but it hasn't happened yet (but he has't faced the top elite boxers like Floyd... though there is really only 2 people in that category, Floyd and Ward)

its speculation... but i dont think he would be favorite. Either way at the end of the day we can talk as much crap as we want... but this fight isn't happening.

To be fair who doesn't call out the cash cow? Heck if Wilder could squeeze down to 54 he too would attempt to call out Mayweather.

GGG isnt interested in taking any risks. He is waiting until the canelo match falls from the sky into his lap. The last 2 lineal champs avoided him like the plague..... if nobody in your division will fight you, move up and take some risks, GGG likes to play the victim role but demands ward to fight him at 164.

I think he would be the favorite. I dont remember the last time he wasnt, it must be years ago. DLH, Pac, Canelo, he was the favorite. Not sure on Corales and JLC, that would be the best guess for him to be the underdog, if not those, he may have been the favorite literally his entire career.

I remember when people said this about Canelo and Manny when Floyd said same. Maybe Floyd is right?

I agree with you, I don't see the fight happening.

how can you say he plays the victim role... the fans might make that case for him but he has never played the victim role.

He wants to campaign in his division... personally i want him to move up but i am not the guy getting punched in the face so if he wants to fight the best middleweights around... that's how it is.

i don't remember many people saying that about Canelo or Manny... except fanboys or floyd haters... no respectable poster or boxing analyst ever said anything like that as far as i recall.

i am pretty sure Floyd was favorite in both fights (can't remember for sure).
