I heard that Joshua-Martin tickets were steep and fans couldn't buy tickets in the first 5 minutes they went on sale to the public.

I bet that there will be a ton tickets available for this fight a day before the fight. Isn't it weird how these tickets weren't flying when they were going to fight at some Indian casino??
Exactly! No clue if fans are buying tickets or 3rd party or just being set aside by PBC ect. Only way to tell if a fight sold well at the box office is after the fight when they release their attendance AND the live gate figures (something PBC has refused to do). You can even inflate attendance figures something PBC has been accused of doing by giving out free tickets. Most successful fights that can't wait to tell you the gate figures, hell UFC releases the attendance and live gate figures to the Associated Press for every one of their fights. For example the Garcia/Guerrero fight announced a attendance 12K a number PBC fans jumped up and down about. Despite numerous reports of mass amounts of free tickets being given out reports PBC fans scream were just "haters" and not true. Weeks later LA Times releases this article pointing out how terrible the money PBC is getting from Live Gates and specifically dug and found "For last month's Garcia-Guerrero fight in Los Angeles, the fight card's purse totaled $3.2 million, versus only $508,620 in live-gate ticket sales."
Al Haymon, the reclusive manager of boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr., has aggressively been buying TV time to telecast fight cards as part of a daring strategy to revive the sport by tapping into a new, younger audience.

Now you see why they don't release the live gate figures. It's IMPOSSIBLE to have sold anywhere close to 12k tickets and pull only 500k. For comparison GGG vs Lemiuex generated a Live Gate of over 2mi from ticket sales and had attendance of 20k. UFC NON PPV fights where they announce attendance at 10k generates Live Gates of 1mil. Now before anyone says well what about the ticket prices, these examples have virtually identical ticket prices. Meaning PBC had 12K but likely only truly sold around 5K ticket and gave more then half away for free!

If this fight truly sells out then PBC will no doubt release their Live Gate figures if not there is likely more shady crap going on with PBC when it comes to tickets and attendance.

I really sure hope actual fans bought tickets for this fight and it's a real sell out. This happens in all sports where attendance are really inflated due to the stub hubs trying to screw the public. I sure want to see the live gate $$ for GGG-Wade card last night, I think GGG brings the actual blue collar fan who can actually buy and afford ticket prices without a 3rd party raping them. There are rumblings that the Canelo-Khan fight isn't selling as well as expected.
