        This is a mess.
Thanks to Walters Loma doesn't fight until June and will probably only fight twice this year. Now Loma has to move up and vacate his belt for Valdez, that's what HBO and Top Rank want of course, and he may not even get a chance to fight Martinez for the belt.

I would prefer Loma to stay and defend his 126 belt than to fight Martinez for no belt.
Did Top Rank think this out? Well, I think I know the answer.
Loma is signed to these guys for four more years and it's clear they have his best interest at heart.

Hopefully HBO never give Berchelt a chance.

Showtime was willing to work with Arum on the Walters fight. Arum refused. How is this Walters fault?

Loma was originally scheduled to have his first fight of 2016 in April, but Walters, who they've been negotiating with since the beginning of the year, said he wanted the fight in June. Loma agreed.

Walters has wasted a lot of Loma's time since they were at Featherweight. Walters fooled a lot of people to think that Loma was the one ducking him. The truth, however, is that Walters has been making it difficult to negotiate since they were both Featherweights. Loma wasted a lot of time on that guy and now thanks to him he won't fight until June.

Loma is moving and on and that's what he should do, but thanks to Walters Loma won't fight until June (That was my original comment). So it is Walters' fault.

It was Walters and Loma's promoters who couldn't get the fight done. That's not Walters fault. And this isn't the first fight Loma has lost due to money. His guarantee is too high and Top Rank is too cheap. That's a bad combination. Now look at this Martinez situation. They're either gonna fight without a title on the line or have to pay Berchelt step aside money. Money that could've been used to pay Walters. Fights for him keep falling thru but it's everybody else's fault?

And Showtime was willing to work with Arum to make the Walters fight. Arum wasn't willing to move the date. The fight could've gotten made

My comment was: Thanks to Walters Loma is NOT FIGHTING UNTIL JUNE! So it is Walters' fault, because when they were negotiating Walters is the one that requested for the fight to take place in June instead of April. So thanks to Walters Loma has to fight in June instead of the intended April date.
                    It's that simple.
Once again, thanks to Walters Loma doesn't fight until June and will only fight twice this year.
