Hearn/Brook have been calling out Danny Garcia for weeks now and we have yet to hear any word from the Garcia camp. What's going on?

This is the social media age where Trump could tweet and respond in seconds after hearing negative reviews about him. Why can't we have it here?

Who exactly is ducking this fight? Apparently it's Garcia based on the standard procedure set by certain posters here: If you are called out, you're supposed to respond. Otherwise, you're ducking doe. Which I have expressed disagreement with in the Lara/Decubas tweeting case: If you want a fight, make it happen, use your damn phone and call Haymon, Hoya, Arum, whoever is concerned. Just like what Khan did. In this case, Hearn should stop speculating and use his damn phone.

We haven't heard from Garcia for more than 2 weeks now ever since Hearn and Brook started mentioning his name.

Been bumping this thread because Garcia/Brook is the most realistic fight that can be made right now as both are available, not to mention the absence of promotional issues. Vargas is also an option for Brook, but not for Garcia, ie, TR/PBC rivalry. The others either have upcoming fights or concluded their last fights very recently.

It's possible Floyd is coming out of retirement to fight Garcia. Hearn could be right.

This fight wouldn't make any money and is pointless. The last fight of a great fighter's career did terrible numbers. Not sure why they think him coming back against a no hoper would generate any money.

Any word from Danny "Businessman" Garcia's camp yet?

Been bumping this thread because Brook is the only realistic option for him with zero promotional issues. Vargas is with Arum. Berto, Ortiz, Thurman, Porter have forthcoming fights. Broner is probably in jail. Who else is there for him? There's Bundu, Collazo, Lopez, Chaves, if this is the road he wants to take.

Why not take the Brook fight so they can promote it early?

Haven't heard from Mayweather either. Is he coming back to fight Garcia?

So what prevented Hearn from pursuing this fight?
Who told him Garcia is fighting Mayweather?

My guess: He had a talk with Haymon and Haymon didn't give a definitive answer and discouraged any further negotiations.
