Canelo's punches, even if they're blocked, can still do damage and bash you about. Khan needs to get on his bike for the whole fight and avoid taking ANY shots. There's no doubt in my mind what happens when he gets caught, doesn't even have to be clean! If he takes a full force hook to the side of his head with his guard up he's getting knocked off balance and made to look weak

Pretty much like he did in 12 rounds against Kotelnik, when the Prescott loss was fresh.

.... And yet he still looked like a fragile, twig-legged deer whenever Kotelnik tagged him a bit. Unless Khan somehow becomes Mayweather overnight, and pulls off that gameplan from September '13, this Alvarez "fight" is tantamount to sanctioned murder.

The thing is, I think he'll manage it......for a few rounds. I'm convinced Canelo will catch him eventually. As soon as khan is slightly wobbled by any punch he's done. He's no Floyd Mayweather, Khan only looks good in spurts but always makes a mistake eventually. This is the first big puncher he's been in with in years...for a reason

Best example I can think of. Cotto's chin got much better as he moved up.

I see it too. For a few rounds, I envision Alvarez to be standing there doing fuck-all in the middle of the ring, like he did against Trout and Mayweather, whilst Khan circles around him jabbing and throwing harmless 1-2s. "Oh wow, Khan is outboxing the bigger man!"

Yeah, about that... So after a while, Alvarez will get bored of watching this little bug whizzing around him. Swat, out of the air, and squashed. :shrug1:

I say Khan will have to box perfect and look good if he is to get the win. If he plays it safe the judges will do how they did in the Lara fight. They will give Canelo the fight because he was the one willing to engage. If Khan tries to exchange it will end up bad for him. Lets wait and see

what DL is trying to say is "let me know how hard he hits Cause I am next to fight him in Sept!" no way canelo fights GGG!" if GBP makes this fight as a plan B besides GGG It will be disgraceful not to mention is it's at 155!!!!

Thomas Hearns and Manny Pac. As well as Cotto.

Lol. Sounds about right. Canelo Knocks Khan the F-OUT on Sept. 7th and Khan wakes up on the 9th!!! Two days later in the hospital.
