Unless you want to take their side.
It's frankly made being a Golovkin fan hard at times, but then what you gonna do? I was a fan from back in 2011 before all that bull hit started. Would you abandon a fighter you liked because other members of his fanbase said some ****** ish? That would not be being true to myself either I think. I just try to steer the best path I can man and besides I thnk think its important to show that its possible to be fan a fan without also being a hater. Maybe that's why I'm so stubborn about it.

Damn, but I love to talk about myself ... I just started on an essay about how my posting and appreciation of the sports evolved over the years, but trying to type that **** on my phone with my shovel hands is an exercise in fkn frustration... Another time maybe. My main goal here - if I got one - is to get people away from all this fanbase rivalry bull hit and back to just appreciating the fights. Its one of the reason I put all the effort into keeping the Pick Em going. Maybe I'm being naive or even hubristic but it's a worthy effort I reckon.

    • That businessman owns BBB sides 0, legacy, and MW titles and has no problem giving BBB side his second L when BBB side has decided he’s ready to cash himself out.

I ain't saying Golovkins a greater or more accomplished fighter than Canelo at all, because he isn't, hell I'm not even saying Golovkins H2H better prime even though I think there's a case because I'm not sure we've seen the best of Canelo yet. I'm saying precisely that all the rationalisations and justifications we use to try to argue why our preferred fighters are more worthy of our support than some other fighter should be seen for what they are. Rationalisation. We all got our biases and preferences and that's OK but trying to prove ours are more justified or better than someone else's is a fools errand cos folk will always find a plausible narrative to justify their preference . It's what humans do. All of these fighters just trying to make the best of the lot they're served, man. They all deserve our respect unless they actually are proven to have deliberately cheated.

And the Clenbuterol thing you're either misunderstanding or being disingenuous. I do give Canelo the benefit of the doubt, and I've said so over and over. There's no proof of deliberate use and it's time to move on.

I only challenge you when you claim or insinuate that there's proof of innocence, and you know full this is something you do on the regular. You stop claiming there's proof of innocence - which there isn't - and you'll find I don't bring it up at all, man. It's you that ain't moving on.
I enjoy how we post our theorizes as defense lawyers from either side. We can always have long detailed explainable scenarios to to justify either sides. I bet even if we switched roles and PLAYED with the idea to prove either side, we could. You know we could.

That’s why at times it’s best, and I’ve said before, forget all that theory. Let’s just go by eye test. That’s the most truthful thing to go by, BUT WE need to be honest with criteria on the 10 Point Must. AND we should be more ideal and honest about the NARRATIVE.

If Canelo were to go and just jab his way against Benavidez, despite the fact that these scenarios are different with SIZE when comparing Nelo and GGG, I would be honest and open that Canelo should’ve done more. NOW if it were leaked that Canelo had suffered some non disclosed injury I would still be angry because taking such risks affects the fighters being hit with shots for a fight that shouldn’t have happened.

Therefore, since no such scenarios existed with GGG, and judges READ NEWS as Breadman said himself, how is GGG going to just flick jabs and no body work with Canelo while saying he wanted a certain Mexican “style” with Canelo. That was GGG’s worst compubox performance and you rate That by truthful efficiency against elites. GGG’s first fight was a cop out and fans exploit that, with much to do because they’re PAC converts and hate Canelo in general...

As Canelo fans we have to deal with judge narratives till he retires and it gets played out. Only casuals bring up such theory because they don’t know such selection of shots. Canelo, like GGG, are upper echelon professional because they’re composed and patient in the ring. That in itself is a hard trait to have. That’s how Generals behaved in the time of wars. You have to lead and fight and be composed. Canelo proved that in the second fight with the narrative against him. Canelo knew that. Those are legendary performances. GGG storming out the ring. Bro that’s weak...

People have different preferences. I rather follow the true G.
