i cant agree with u there u guys trying to downplay spence obvious potential and skill are ones that are wrong this time. u could say the same thing about ggg before he fought in america what does it matter when they found out about him? most hardcore boxing fans knew him from team usa in the olympics. why u guys have ur panties in a bunch because people think spence is the real deal literally makes no sense. did u do this with crawford ggg and kovalev when this happened? give me a break

While I respect true boxing knowledge, and there is a good bit of that on here, to gloat and make a big deal about how long you've been a fan of X boxer is just being a geek IMO. Who cares anyway? I just enjoy seeing solid talent emerge... but I'm not falling for the latest sensation til they prove themselves against some tough opponents, get chin jolted, regroup, survive, win. Then maybe we have something there to rave over. Some can call that a hater all they want. I do not care. Oh and yeah, DiBella is being way too bumptious about Spence. Guy's getting irritating, needs to relax. His fighter will do well, no doubt. But he won't beat everyone like DiBella says.

Stop lying bra. There have been Errol Spence threads on this site for two year running now. Nobody jumping on no bandwagon. Everybody been talking about him being the next big thing, even Floyd was already hyping the kid up since early 2015 already.

DiBella needs to calm down. Spence is still a prospect with 1 good win and 1 solid win. It is crazy to say that far more experienced fighter has a zero chance against that kid..

Given the gulf of difference in their performances against Algieri , bearing in mind when Chris fought Khan it was Algieri's first stab at the full welterweight...I think Dibello is about right.

People do the same thing with music. "I heard (insert artist) five years before you heard em, and they went mainstream." As if new fans aren't being honest about liking them.

A lot of people don't know about Spence NOW, that will be fans later. There was a time when every fighter was unknown. What point do people try to prove when they say this? Too many people spend their time trying to "one up" others, making silly claims.

Spence ain't ****, get him in there with someone who has power and speed like an elite should & you can talk. Chris Algieri was no killer and all the elites are killers, spence is done soon. Once the feed him to Kell Brook , Sean porter, Keith Thurman or even Danny, he's done.
