This is possible. I'm very much looking forward to what happens with his weight. I think it's absolute bs that he can still make 154 and 155 is just barely attainable. His body is prob perfect for 160 yet he's boiling all the way down to 155 for one reason only: avoid golovkin.

If there was no Golovkin, he would be at 160.

That's how fighters get beat .....him boiling down like that sooner or later he's gonna be flat in that ring and then he will either get stopped or get beaten on points ......and all because he is afraid to enter the golovkin equation ....the bogeyman is waiting for him above 155lbs lol

I hope Kahn somehow wins this fight. If Kahn wins I think he will be man enough to fight GGG without excuses.

He was only 163 at the 30 day weigh in. that's nothing. You think he will ONLY lose 5 pounds in 30 days? There are fighters who are cutting 15-20 pounds 30 days out. And his last fight against Cotto he made 155 easily. I have no doubt if that fight were a title fight at 154 he could of shed that last pound. His camp still says he can make 154 if he has to. Fact is he has never weighed more then 154/155 his entire career.

Take the fricklng 160lb belt from that undeserving low ,mexican

Screw Canelo and just award the belt to GGG and move on. Canelo isn't a MIDDLEWEIGHT so strip the mex and have a real champion GGG at 160lbs. Boxing has no rules and boxing has no leadership as greedy seedy rotten promoters rule boxing today. Canelo is a joke anyway as the Khan fight shows. Make GGG champion and ignore Canelo yellow the low mex. Mexico deserves nothing and make Canelo fight all his fights in Mexico and spare the USA.

Don't blame you Canelo. I hate thinking about **** thats gonna be awkward &/or potentially make me look bad if I f#ck it up too.

Also oh **** LOL at the guy talking about if Canelo came in over vs Khan. That would definitely make the clean up of him not fighting GGG over the 155 a much harder clean up for ODLH. I think most of us probably agree Canelo isn't working THAT less hard making 155 as he was 154 so this whole 155 thing has never really made sense to reasonable fans.

I think there could even be a semi or fully tinfoil hat theory that ODLH came up with this 155 strategy from the start to contend with the GGG problem. At 2 fights a year for Canelo at this point & GGG already 34 now there isn't a lot more time needed to wait for GGG to get a lil older, slower or even get knocked off by someone else & if needed they can always go back down to 154 for a fight or two if they decide to play the "he's not really a MW, we're going back down to JMW" card to save some face. Then they can always say in 2018 when GGG is 36 that Canelo is a real MW now & move up & a fight that woulda been much harder in May 2016 has a realistic chance to be much easier in Sept. 2018. Might just need to hire a good nutritionist & get rid of all them tacos the Reynoso's are always making/eating.

True who will he ask for next cuz honestly I see lemiux giving him a good match and De La Hoya through out the years has learned that Canelo is still not at his prime point if he would've been he would've beat Floyd and would've beat lara more convincingly honestly Canelo should start fighting the very best after two more fights more or less
