Which one of those champions ducked their mandatory to fight those fighters? If Canelo tells him to come to 155 to get the belt I'll support Canelo. Canelo has paid the cost to be the boss. If GGG wants to be great he needs to take a risk like every great fighter before him.
If Canelo won't give him the opportunity to fight at 155 that's a clear duck.
Do you think he can loose more pounds at his age?

No, not every A side has bull****es as much as Canelo is trying too. You ****ing weight fight night 175 and have the ability/drugs to make 155 and you want to weaken a fighter that weights fight night 170? I thought we were judging fighters, not weight drainers.
Most fighters rehydrate a some pounds but Canelo is a special case, he rehydrates 20 pounds. Is that the skill your are judging as a boxing fan? then it speaks a lot of you. But most people don't buy that garbage and place him as the coward he is.
Floyd made Nelo fight at 52.
Pacquiao made Cotto fight at 45 and Algieri at 44.
Cotto made Sergio fight at 59, and Margarito 2 at 53.
Paul Williams made Martinez 2 at 57.
DLH made Hopkins at 57.
It happens in boxing. It only seems to be inconvenient when it's happening to the fighter you like.
And again if Canelo is the much bigger guy, why would he put himself at a disadvantage by dropping down to 55?? If GGG is smaller it would be easier for him to drop weight than Nelo. So why would Nelo do that ? If he really wanted the advantage he'd fight at 161. Making himself lose as little weight as possible and come in as heavy as possible.Comment

Let's see here.
1) Floyd made Canelo fight at 152, and it was ok because Canelo would be too heavy otherwise. Canelo used to weight 172 (Trout fight before Floyd) and weighed 165 for Floyd. So Floyd did the right think to keep the fight fair. Floyd was probably around 155/160 fight night.
2) Cotto was heavier than Pacquiao. Pacquiao did the same that Floyd did to Canelo. It was ok. Cotto probably still had 5 pounds at least over Pacquiao. Algieri previous fight was at 140 and he took it as a step to 147. Seems like you didn't even know that his previous fight was at 140... again, same scenario. Guy much bigger/heavier than the other.
3) Cotto was a voluntary defense for Martinez and Martinez accepted the 159 CW since he didn't have a problem to make 159 at all. And still, it was voluntary by him. Margarito the same. One pound was not an issue and I believe Margarito was heavier than Cotto.
4) Both were junior MW just one year ago that fight. And both had similar fight night weight. Martinez accepted it as a voluntary defense.
5) DLH and Hopkins was a case of two fighters that were very different in size. DLH used to campaign at 130-160 while Hopkins at 160-175. They met at 157 because Hopkins was too heavy for oscar.
6) Canelo fight night weight is 175. Golovkin fight night weight is 170. Canelo already has a weight advantage. No need to weaken Golovkin at all. Canelo could also enter the ring at 180 if he makes the weigh in at 160. Either way he is having weight advantage over Golovkin. AND Golovkin is his mandatory.
And again if Canelo is the much bigger guy, why would he put himself at a disadvantage by dropping down to 55?? If GGG is smaller it would be easier for him to drop weight than Nelo. So why would Nelo do that ? If he really wanted the advantage he'd fight at 161. Making himself lose as little weight as possible and come in as heavy as possible.

Last time I'm answering to you. It's ok to put a CW if there are significant weight differences between two fighters.

He's younger and has more ability to drain weight. Is that the skill that you are judging as a boxing fan? god.
Don't be so ******, use your ****ing brain. Bye.
You're so smart. I guess that's why you're in red.
Bye bye.Comment

I think Canelo will fight GGG after GGG goes to SMW....
I think Canelo will let GGG fight at SMW and then make the fight. That way GGG will have to cut more weight to get back to 160lbs giving Canelo the potential advantage for later rounds. Just a hunch...Comment
