  • Floyd stay retired. If you come out of retirement and beat GGG haters and GGG fans will play the weight drained card.

    • A HYPOCRITE. That's what this GGG guy is.
He is after easy money just like anyone else.
Never wanted to fight the bigger and more skilled guy (Ward) who doesn't bring much money to the table, but way more likely than not, would defeat him.
But he will fight Mayweather Jr. in a heartbit, even if he drains himself, because it's the biggest money reward possible and it's a 100% sure thing he won't get hurt, what a coward. Canelo = less money, WAY MORE chances of getting hurt. Ward = almost no money, yet tons of chances of losing in an embarrassing fashion and being exposed as a B-class fighter.

Canelo is a coward for not wanting to fight him at 160, true, but he is just like GGG himself, it's not cowardice stemming from fearing the opponent. Rather, it comes from a 100% risk, 0% reward proposal. Canelo will not make much money vs. GGG but if he loses at a weight he has never ever fought on (160), then his cash-cow status will be compromised, maybe for good. A fight with Manny, a re-match with Cotto or Mayweather Jr. would be less risky and more lucrative. Let's face it, the middle weight division has no big names that would attract Canelo for a big payday, so it's not so much that he is afraid of them, it's more like he gets zero in a risk-reward analysis. today, the "hot" divisions for big paydays are welter and super-welter. De la Hoya made this happen, and it is still the status quo in boxing.

GGG is even a bigger coward because HE IS NOT a cash cow, he doesn't really have any legacy to protect, and yet he won't fight Canelo at 155, but he will gladly fight Mayweather at 154. Or 155, which I think Mayweather Jr. would ask for, to add a so-called "middleweight" belt to his resume, just like the fake belt Canelo already has.

Seems things just get worse and worse in boxing and n many other fields, as humanity "progresses". The more people there are, the worse the planet gets, and the more complicated and less substantial things become. Boxing used to be a wholesome straightforward sport, weights were for real, same as titles, now it is a whole mess where a flyweight can suddenly become a so-called welterweight in a few years, or a heavyweight can fight at super-middleweight. People who should not be fighting each other, because they naturally ibelong to different weight divisions, do get to fight.

BTW why not do the weigh-ins a couple of hours before the fight?

I'm kidding, none are those guys are middleweights, so Gennady did not duck those fights.....

..... he avoided those fights, because he did not need to take them..... despite being willing to fight other guys at the same weight.
Honestly speaking, There is no way you can seriously believe GOLOVKIN DUCKED CANELO. You can make a case for the Ward fight and MAYBE a Lara duck even though Lara was talking ish before every one of his pbc fights. But to say GGG is actually afraid and ducking the lineal 155 champ, Canelo, is simply hatred towards GGG.

The Wade fight is no reward for Golovkin. If he wins it makes no difference.
