    Gatti vs Bojado

Bojado looked to be a future star in the boxing ring, but after a few losses on his record now, is he done or can a good trainer fix him? Who would you put your money on him vs Gatti?

My money is on Gatti, of course

Bojado can still be a star but he needs a top 10 victory before he could face Gatti.

Leija beat Bojado. Gatti beat Leija. I know that don't mean anything a lot of the times, but I think that's the case here. So I put my money on Gatti.

But I'm not counting Bojado out, though. He's only 21 years old and still has a lot to learn. How about a Juan Diaz-Francisco Bojado bout at 135-140?

Bojado would be better if he went back to the style he had in his earlier bouts. Maybe its not his style but he used to be a much more offensive minded fighter and could really throw some beautiful, accurate combinations. I think he's technically better than Gatti but he'd find himself in trouble if they fought now. I'd put smart money on Gatti and chance money on Bojado.

                Right now Gatti by TKO.
If Bojado ever realizes/d his potential i would have a different pick.

Bojado was as overhyped a prospect as I have ever seen....he kept knocking guys out on shobox with horrible records...and when I say knocking them out, he was hitting them with glancing blows and arm shots and they were quitting.

So everyone talked about how unbelievable power this kid had...he never had great power that was a myth! He has decent skills but still no power and both of his losses have come when he was not in shape so he can fix some things.

Had he of fought Gatti I guarantee it would have been a much better fight than we saw with Leija on Saturday. Bojado would have been in super shape and given Gatti trouble for the first few rounds...you still have to pick Gatti but Bojado would have given Gatti a good run or at least a much better go of it than LEija did.

Yeah i agree it seemed like Lieja wanted to cash his check and go home to his pretty wife.
