It will have been 52 full weeks between fights by the time Dejan Zlaticanin is set to return to the ring and that's assuming there are no more delays along the way. It's been a long and frustrating road to the title for the unbeaten boxer from Montenegro, but there is light at the end of the title as he's set to meet Italy's Emiliano Marsili on June 11 at Turning Stone Resort & Casino in Verona, New York.

This is a pretty good card. Saw Zlaticanin live when he beat Burns. He's a handful.

He certainly is. He's a tricky customer and a smooth operator. I was very impressed with his wins over redkach and burns. He's totally in control of his emotions which is the sign of a champ. He also is fearless and willing to go to a opponents backyard. He's as good as it gets right now at 135 lbs. I'm rooting for him and hoping he faces off with Linares.

It's disgraceful the way some so-called champions claim injury and duck bad ass #1 contenders. That's what Linares did and Drozd did to avoid Ilunga Makabu. I knew neither of those fights would happen. These so-called champs never seem to get injured right before an easy payday against some of the bums they fight.
