On the real I never once said Thurman was ducking at any point of the Porter fight being in limbo & on the real I don't think you rush a solid young prospect level guy who's ******ly ranked #3 in the world somehow by this dumbass abc group into a fight with one of the best prospects in the world, a legit top ten guy & who could be the next big thing in boxing. I as a manger or promoter of Pono would see more upside in getting some seasoning & experience on Pono & getting him in line to fight Spence or whoever in 2 more years or so at 24, 25ish.
Duck talk is almost always pretty f#cking ****** people saying **** so I wouldn't listen to them on the whole. There are more things at play in boxing than "he scared". But go get a time machine & go ask the idiots who were calling it a duck at the time & ask them why its a duck. Duck people are idiots, but inventive idiots. I suspect they'll give some very imaginative reasoning doe.
