What I'll never understand is how Spinks was given the decision against Mayorga but Forrest wasn't. They both hit the canvas 4+ times against Mayorga, but some of those were knockdowns against Spinks that went uncounted. Complete bull****. Either Mayorga won both fights or he lost both, but not 1-1.

After watching both fights recently.
Both of them were outright robberies, and that's all there is to it.
I think Mayorga beat Spinks and Forrest beat Mayorga the second time.
Mayorga clearly won the Spinks fight in my view, but the Forrest fight was close. Forrest lost because everytime Mayorga hit his glove, he went staggering 10 feet across the ring. Learn some ****ing balance already.

yeah and slipping all around. If it hadn't been for that I think he would have got it. Here's the scores for the spinks figtht
Judge: Eugene Grant 112-114 | Judge: John Keane 110-117 | Judge: Arthur Ellensohn 114-114
another judge way off on his scores

I think Forrest beat him in the second fight. He fought well...and was tagging Mayorga with clean, straight shots. I really thought it was just Mayorga's heart that made the fight close....because he wasn't winning it on my cards.
Forrest also fought differently than he did the first time around because he prepared for a real fight, and fought a real fight. That was impressive by Vernon.
No way did Spinks beat Mayorga.....no ****ing way.

Some people dont like his trash talking but I love it!
Yeah I used to give Mayorga a hard time about the trash talking...because I thought he was a self centered, ******* that was trying to act tough.
Now I know it's innate in his personality and he is who he is. He's not a ****ing pretender.
=====But alot of people talk about Oscar will KO Mayorga and that will never happen. Any true boxing fan has to respect Mayorga's chin and heart. =====
** The video starts off with the rusty Tito who ended up beating up Mayorga bad, not exactly the best way to make your case. Oscar hits plenty hard when he wants, and is a damn sight better boxer, so I wouldn't be a bit surprised to see Oscar KO him late. Mayorga doesn't have a bright future being a punching bag and a bully in the street. He'll wind up so punch drunk that the whores he ****d are gonna be raping him with mops, not that he has any brains to that would actually need to switch off.
