Canelo isn't going to fight GGG, they need to start looking to Danny Jacobs, BJS, Eubank Jr. etc.

Canelo will drop the title and drop from the 160 rankings, he doesn't seem to have any intentions there.

Canelo is 5'9 has a very slight reach advantage and is naturally the heavier guy. I think Ward destroys GGG personally because he is the technically superior boxer but would also be the much bigger and stronger guy. Quite frankly that fight would be a mismatch - Canelo vs GGG wouldn't because they are similar in size.

They could have this fight probably already signed if GGG would agree to come down to 155. But he will NOT NEGOTIATE at ALL. I don't even think he will come down even 1 lb. I'm not saying its right but meet in the middle at 157.5 and ask for a better split of the money. He won't though because his team REFUSES to believe that their the B-Side of this deal...

And Tom Loeffler blew his chance with BJS and Jacobs with his low ball offers.we ALL know that "Life Changing" offer to Saunders was a BS lie. He offered him less then what he makes fighting guys like Dominic Wade. Tom Loeffler would rather just keep paying these Cab Drivers $100-500K.

Those weren't my words, that's an article from "The Sweet Science" which is something you obviously know nothing about! Go educate yourself! Nobody likes catch-weights! I shouldn't be ashamed of myself, the WBC should be ashamed of themselves for giving Canelo a title that he earned in a catch-weight fight! That being said, there is a history and if GGG wants to make history, he should consider fighting Canelo @ 155:

          HBO’s Lampley Blasts Catch Weights

“We’ll close now by circling back to Cotto vs. Geale. The big subplot going in was weight, as Cotto intelligently used his enormous bargaining power to force Geale into a catch weight. 157 pounds instead of the middleweight limit of 160.

“The effect was visible at the weigh-in, where the Aussie veteran looked haggard and gaunt. It was visible in the ring, where the comically larger Geale’s few landed punches were nothing more than a light drizzle for Cotto. No raincoat, no umbrella necessary.

”We’ve got no problem with Cotto doing what was once effectively done to him by Manny Pacquiao and his current trainer, Freddie Roach. We understand there is a long and accepted history for catch weights, and over time they’ve helped superstars like Henry Armstrong and Bernard Hopkins and Manny Pacquiao to make their marks on history.

“But there comes a time when you have to reconsider your relationship to the audience. Boxing, with its 68 recognized titles in 17 different weight classes, its absurd semantic ploys like ‘interim champion’ and ‘super champion’, its revolutionary globalism, is confusing enough already for the consumer. More than enough.

“If governing bodies want to strike a small blow for sanity, this one is available: no catchweights in real championship fights. Draw a line and promise fans that if a fighter is going to defend the middleweight championship, he will be willing to fight an opponent who weighs 160 on the scale. And so on for all the divisions except heavyweight. That’s not about Miguel Cotto. He has earned everything he’s gotten. It’s about building better bridges to fans for a sport that yearns to boost its audience share.”

Too bad Lampley didn't "BLAST" Oscar and Pacquiao when they were making HBO rich! Maybe this wouldn't be happening today?

Canelo is NOT 5' 9". I've seen him personally. Amir Khan is listed at 5' 8" 1/2. He's DEFINITELY taller then Canelo even you can't doubt that. Mayweather is 5' 8" and he was a hair taller. Plenty of images and videos out there with them standing side by side, facing each other, etc. To compare to.

Heck Dan Rafeal even admitted Canelo isn't taller then 5'8" on his chats. And he's met him NUMEROUS times.

GGG is apparently 5'10 and a young Canelo looks very similar in size, physically he has grown even larger are you honestly trying to suggest that he is too small for GGG?

You're making multiple long posts trying to defend the most disgraceful CW demand of all time. That's on you, not on Lampley, the sweet science etc

No. I think there about the same size. GGG is taller by about 2" like I said. And the pic GGG isn't even standing up straight. Go back and watch the fight video...or look at the picture of them both in the ring standing up straight flexing.

If u want to say Canelo 5' 10" then that's fine by me. He's as tall as you believe he is...

I don't think GGG will have ANY problems making 157. He usually comes in the scales at 159 anyways. Do what you got to do to make your BIGGEST fight EVER. Then make Canelo payxfor that mistake. Sht Kovalev would. And then he would PUNISH them for it like he did to Pascal for all his sht talking call him a racist. He smiled and just kept laughing....Until they got in the ring.

Would you rather see Canelo vs. GGG at a ****** CW??! Or GGG vs. Another can driver???

You're quoting me multiple times to make an excuse for why GGG shouldn't accept 155lb. catch-weight and fight the biggest fight in his career. That's on you!
