There's only been 3 boxing events at the Forum since 1987 and one of them was Lil G vs Monroe. The other 2 were Marquez-Alvarado and Mosley-Mayorga 2.

Being from the LA area I find it weird that this fight is selling so "well" according to Golovkin's people. Literally no one is talking about this fight. Not even casuals who know who GGG is. They go "he has a fight coming up?" and I have to explain that he's fighting an alcoholic who is currently on house arrest.

But good for him nonetheless.
