I've figured out Golovkin fans, they don't want to see him try to be great. As a Ward fan I want him to beat Kovalev and Adonis Stevenson and move up to fight Glowacki and the Lebedev vs Ramirez winner. And maybe crazy but try heavyweight.

Golovkin fans like to see him fight Dywane Wade and declare Golovkin great, he is the best hypothetical fighter ever.

If GGG is what you say he is everyone would already know it and you shouldn't need 3 threads a day to convince us. It doesn't matter what you want Ward to do. What matters is what Ward and GGG actually do. Here is a direct and I think fair comparison of what each of them have done in the last 3 and 1 half years. The ranking of the opponents is where they are ranked in the world now by neutral boxrec. Ward won a ud over Rodriguez ranked 15th and he won by KO over Smith ranked 60th and then won a ud over Barrera ranked 33rd. GGG won 11 fights ALL BY KO in this same 3 and 1 half years. He KOed champion Lemieux ranked 9th. Monroe ranked 26th, Murray ranked 5th,Rubio ranked 24th, Geale ranked 11th, Adama, Stevens, Ishida and Proska no rank listed, Mackin ranked 21st and Rosado ranked 34th. So that's 11 straight KOs for GGG vs. 2 uds and 1 KO. for Ward. That's two top 10 world rated opponents for GGG vs.no top 10 opponent for Ward. So you stick with one fight a year Ward and I'll be proud to be a fan of GGG who knocks out 3 or 4 fighters every year. If your favorite fighter and formerly my favorite fighter Canelo ever gets the courage to fight GGG you will see that GGG is the best middleweight in the world and it's not hypothetical.

Why don't you want the same for Canelo? Or is it just too convenient to move GGG out of the MW division to not have Canelo ever have to fight him?

I don't think anyone's fans just wanna see them beat up Wade-caliber guys.

I do think there are many GGG fanboys who are harping on the wrongness of this A-side & 155lb thing that like it or not is a part of the business & GGG is on the wrong side of. Fighters on & above GGG's level had to submit to demands of the guy in the superior position before & rightly or wrongly GGG should as well.
