Exactly...Hopkins beat a blown up Trinadad and A old Oscar... Granted he then went and beat Pavlik and Tarver amongst others so his legacy is set in stone obviously...if Brook,Thurman,Canelo etc turn into superstars and move up then GGG has the same situation as Hopkins and Hagler except GGG is already a star even in his watered down crap divison. Moving up to fight maybe Degale if he unifies makes sense. Ramirez really doesn't right now...

Those WW's were huge though. I mean when you talk about Hearns, Leonard, Trinidad, DLH...these are all guys who were 5'10" or more and were not small, Hearns was like an NBA point guard height and went all the way up to cruiserweight. The smallest guy Hagler fought was Duran but Duran is an ATG. If every short fighter can do what Duran did in higher weights then Duran would not be so great. No one at WW currently has the height and size of those WW's you speak of.

This is exactly how GGG fans should be approaching the subject. But instead they choose to gloat and attempt to claim Lemieux and Rosado are "elite" fighters.

Oscar is not huge. He started at 130. Was a fatass at 160, but all that people care about is that he had a name. Size is besides the point when all any of his detractors say, "he needs a name". So what two welterweights does GGG need to pound out to get his glory? Bradley? He fought Ward so hes not that small. How about Kell Brook? Hes not small. Hes just as tall as Hagler. So what two welters? All we need is two so all you guys can stop crying.

Instead, they turn on me and claim that I hate Golovkin, which is just ******.

Imagine if Golovkin decided to move up to light heavyweight to face Kovalev or Ward. Golovkin would lose, yes, but he would have proven to have the heart of a champion who seeks the best challenges.
