Brook is the champ, he has to be ready for all comers.

It shows you the mentality that they have had for Brook. Sounds shaky to me like if he has doubt for his fighter

Brook will end the hype and next American Star status the same way he did with Shawn Porter. Porter was 'mini-Tyson' and 'ready to beat Mayweather' before he fought Brook.

Spence's defensive flaws will get him caught often and Brook hits hard.

That shouldn't instill a lot of confidence for Brook or Brook's fans in Hearn's feelings about Brook's chances. Obviously a lot of business angles to consider with that statement to, but than again its on f#cking twitter not the wall street journal so its just sorta a weird lil statement. . . .
I've been questioning for a while now whether there's an issue with Brook that we're not privy to. Like you allude to there, a true indication of what a fighter's team really think about their man is who they let him step through the ropes against. He's pushing 30 at this point and although he's a belt holder all we can really say for sure is that he looks to have great potential.

It frustrates me as a fan. I'd expect to see him flying at this point or at the very least testing himself again the bigger names in the division. He's got the physical attributes and looks to have the skill set, comparatively. It makes me wonder whether mentally he lacks the confidence in his own abilities to really go after the big fights. Maybe his fixation with Amir Khan is because he's found a top level fighter who's he's confident he can beat?

If that isn't the case, then Hearn's doing a poor job at this point.

Brook by decision. Repeat of Brook/Porter.

Bad call for Brook if he takes this fight; little fame or money for the risk. Just not worth it...

Brook will fight him no problem and a great fight it will be .They can even put a battered Amir Khan on the undercard as a warm up for Algieri's come back fight.

Is Hearn in cahoots with IBF dictating Brook's mandatory? Is he saying he'll only fight Spence if he's mando? What am I missing?

Tickling your balls? There's that sense of class and propriety that the English are so famous for.

What fame or money was there in fighting Frankie Gavin, Jo Jo Dan, and Kevin Bizier?
