He'll use his gaylord style, and impress the judges. After Mayorga beats on Oscar....he'll set wrongs right and rematch him for a fight that would give him the majority of the belts.
Not that I give a damn about belts....but recognition is recognition.

I think he's really pissed...and Oscar doesn't know that he's dealing with at the moment. Oscar is going to get lured into the trap, and will exchange with Mayorga.
Saturday, May 6 - at Worcester, MA (Showtime)
Jose Antonio Rivera vs. Alejandro Garcia
Luis Collazo vs. Oktay Urkal Roman Karmazin vs. Daniel Santos
Victor Burgos vs. Adonis Rivas
O'Neil Bell vs. Steve Cunningham.
Saturday, May 13 - at Mashantucket, CT (HBO)
Luis Collazo vs. Ricky Hatton
Kevin McBride vs. Mark Krence.
Why drop a fight when its so close, plus he said he wants Santos because he feels he is the toughest in the division. Maybe thats before he had a shot at Spinks.
Also Callazo is fighting Urkal, is that another Luis Callazo? That would be ******ed, lol. A fight a week before going at Hatton.

What are you plans now? Who do you want to fight?
Daniel Santos and Alejandro Garcia are my stablemates right now. As for Ricardo Mayorga, I have no idea how Michelle Piccirillo can win that fight. So soon all of the title holders will be inside the Kingdom. It’s time to unify this division!
So you are targeting other champs, aren’t you?
Right!
Who is the toughest one?
Daniel Santos, in my opinin. He’s not so well-known but he’s damn tough. The Puerto Rican is a strong fighter with iron guts, clever brains and good school.
Do you think Mayorga is weaker?
The Nicaraguan is the harder puncher but I can see all his tricks. I’ll not rumble with him – I will show my boxing skills in that fight and outpoint him easily. But I guess Don King will not allow me to challenge The Matador. He’s his favorite so I expect to make it with Santos.
Garcia?
The weakest one. He has a strong hand but he’s a rookie in tactics.
What’s about arranging a fight with the official IBF contender?
Yet to be determined. I’m very proud of wearing this respectful belt so I’ll surely make a legit defense in 9 months as it’s written down in their rules. But my opponent is not known right now. It seems to be the winner of Rodney Jones – Kofi Jantuah fight. I’m ready for him but unification is mine first goal here!
What do you prefer best – unification or rumbles with the likes of De La Hoya or Wright?
Unification is my dream, but money is much more important for me. And I’m ready to fight anybody! I’m willing to fight Winky Wright. He’s a great boxer and I give him all respect I have for him, but I’m confident in winning that showdown. Come on Winky! Make our fight happen!
So, Roman. When shall we see your next show?
I’m willing to fight as soon as I can. This autumn is the time. Don’t blink – that will be impressive!
HAhah I think it's going to be a good fight but oscar's going to come out on top.
Emmanuel Steward was said to have been brought in to train mayorga before he fought spinks. Steward saw mayorga train for one day and said that he would not train him because he would have to take him back to kronk and change his style completely. He said he wouldnt train him because mayorga couldnt fight.
thought that was kind of interesting. He also knew that spinks would beat mayorga

It's all downhill from there.
Yeah, I can see Mayorga getting in Oscar's head. And making him fight his fight. It worked against Vernon Forrest. It even worked against Trinidad. Problem with that was they were fighting at 160. Trinidad was just to strong for him at that weight.
