Nobody brave enough to step in the ring with Golovkin - thats why no big names on his record. And people wonder why fans going to MMA. Disgraceful. WBC need to give the green strap to GGG #AllTheBelts

Damn everyone wants to be like Mayweather but honestly they havent earned the right. In a way Floyd did set a bad example but he did earn his right to get people at the right time. Cant stand these new age boxers that feel entitled. I dont even like ggg but Canelo needs/should fight him at least by may 2017 no later. And his fat @$$ joke coach needs to humble himself and not talk to media, everytime he does he sticks his fat pata in his mouth.

How the f@ck can you even consider yourself the top global boxing star when your refusing to fight another fighter in your own weight class...which has been mandatoried by the WBC ....these reynosos are proper cave dwellers who probably use there hands when they eat at a restaurant and god knows what kind of mess the table would be in after..if you don't fight golovkin in September ..you either give up the belt or get stripped and go back to 154.....how will that look to the fans then lol

Floyd took risky fights against Gennaro Hernandes, Angel Manfredy, Diego Corralles, Arturo Gatti, Demarcus Corley, Castillo x2 ,Zab Judah, and Carlos Baldomir, all for peanuts before he got his big payday against Oscar, he was right to demand that potential opponents do more than they did to get the big payday. These guys did nothing and wanted to jump straight to the boss without taking down a single guard, pathetic!

Besides, most of the time, the reason Floyd didn't fight mandatories is because he was unifying titles or winning others at a higher weight class (154), he was never flat out ducking like Canelo.

I would love to see Canelo vs. GGG, but I gotta say, I'm kind of enjoying the irony. You see just a few months ago there were countless trolls on these threads making a big deal about Cotto, remember them hoping Canelo wins because he would definitely fight GGG. Now its looking more like it wont happen, and I do think had Cotto defeated Canelo, he would have had the confidence to go straight into a GGG fight. Well you guys got what you wished for.

Everyone knows Canelo took Mayweather too soon!

He was not ready but the money was too good to turn down!

In 2012 Canelo got 1.2 million for the Sugar Shane fight!

The following year Mayweather offered Canelo a guaranteed 5 million!

So what I'm trying to say is Canelo is set money wise! He will fight GGG when the time is right boxing wise not money wise! JMHO!

Canelo is such a wanker. He is a scared, fat boy who loses everytime he steps up to fight guys like Mayweather, Lara and Trout, fighters who actually got skills.

i doubt it. he's simply too small. he lost to canelo because of size and he'd have been bodybagged by GGG because of size

but i think if cotto had edged out canelo, he would have vacated the WBC without blueballing us like canelo is doing. and i'm certain he would have found a better next opponent than amir ****ing khan
