loma manipulated grj's defense in a way fighters typically don't. GRJ defends with his hands stationary in front of his face and loma simply swiped his hands and followed with a right consistently. He roughed him up and neutralized hand speed by having solid d and dictating range. Ring generalship is underrated and fighting at his tempo led loma to the win. This fight was a blow out tho, hyland simply outclassed

I would like to see Russell try to clean up the Featherweight division on the PBC side. There are alot of good fights like LSC, Selby, Mares, and Cuellar. I think Escandon is Russell's mandatory so he'll probably need to take care of that first.
Hopefully we see more activity from Russell. He didn't even go two rounds yesterday, he should be back soon to take care of Escandon before trying to unify.

Please don't tell me you're trying to make an argument for that fight being close. It was 12-0 shutout. Russell literally did not win a clear round.

yeah, but only because giampa is blind, loma won all 12 rounds even the other 2 cards, 116-112 looked too generous with russell

I didn't watch that Loma fight until the 8th round. All I remember hearing from Showtime was thst Loma was winning. I barely found out a judge had Russell winning

All the hand speed means SQUAT if your opponent outsmarts you as Lonachenko did. He can make all the excuses he wants, Loma OWNED him and would again. Lomachenko is in a league of his own.

How do we know that? Loma has fought Nobody other than GRJ and Salido....and he is 1-1 ....name one credible opponent since Russell jr? I think this version of Russell beats Lomanchenko because Loma only fights 1 minute of rounds and a non dehydrated Russell out works hims.
