Like he never fights at least twice a year...

Wasnt a "straight" diss but only elite boxers can be excused for only fighting as rare as "one time."

Thurman's going to knock Porter's head off.

Fairly big fan of Keith, moderate fan of Shaun, so I'm his Keith's corner. I truly hope he can hang at Elite level. Welterweight is looking to be seriously interesting now that unfairly talented boxing aliens like Floyd and Manny have retired to their respective spaceships. Now those who are left are set to battle it out for the crown.

It's not an amazing fight; it's not something incredibly special. And they'll still probably have to give away a lot of tickets because Haymon can't promote for ****. PBC has all but killed boxing, and HBO's slacking now too. This sport is an absolute shell of what it was just a few years ago.
Great post, this is a good match-up but the fact this is being spun as a "mega event" shows the lack of quality fights they can put on.

This type of fight is one fight fans were expecting to see monthly when the PBC was announced and then you get fights like Berto-Ortiz headlining FOX.

Showtime played the PBC masterfully, and now will hold on to any good fight that can be made.
