He used it a lot in the corrales fight to set up other shots, particularly the lead hook. The 2nd knockdown was the most glaringly obvious examples of it. He also gave the look like he was gonna jab to the body to set up the final knockdown. He used the jab both up and down significantly in that fight. That said...the jab to the body is relatively ineffective against southpaws, so i highly doubt floyd would be going to it against a prime pac.

Floyd clearly wanted nothing to do with Manny during his prime. He wouldn't even mention pacs name at one point. How many ridiculous excuses did Floyd come up with to not fight him? Did everyone forget. Some Bullshat "Olympic" style testing that was never done before, which Floyd would decide when testing would begin; worried about his health was another one. "I'll never do business with arum" was another; "he got a loss" was thrown around; not wanting to go 50-50 even tho Manny was a bigger name at the time; not enough ppv #'s...yeah sure.

No, i said he'd be landing his jab to the body, not throwing a jab to the body over and over again one after the other. he would be using it to keep pac at bay and to score clean punches, he would be throwing a lot of straight right hands and making pacquiao miss, but would be overwhelmed with pacquiao's speed and awkward angels
