Simply put this is going to be a very difficult fight to make because GGG won't get and to be honest doesn't yet deserve to get a 50/50 split.

He's not as popular as Canelo, doesn't bring in as much money as Canelo, and hasn't been in nearly the amount of big fights as Canelo.

To compare resumes isn't far because Canelo has already fought two Future Hall of Famers while GGG best win I guess you could say is Lemeiux which would equate to Canelo's win over Trout.

GGG's team is going to have to give in a lot as most fighters have in the history of the sport to make the MEGA fights. GGG will get the most exposure, credit, and money if he fights Canelo. Period.

Golovkin needs to accept the fight at 155 if that's the only way to get Canelo in the ring.

Take the small risk, get a nice payday, and if GGG can beat him then he gets all the glory too. It's a golden opportunity.
