Comments Thread For: Warrington, Amagasa Make Weight For Featherweight Clash

Josh Warrington puts at risk a guaranteed shot the featherweight title as welcomes Japan's Hisashi Amagasa to his hometown. The boxers made weight ahead of their 12-round main event Saturday evening at First Direct Arena in Leeds, England.

Warrington tipped the scales at a ripped and lean 125 lbs. The rail thin Amagasa - who is listed at 5'10 1/2" but towers over all other featherweights - checked in at 125.5 lbs.

Surely Warrington will target the body of this guy, only stopped against Rigondeaux and being a taller than 5'10 featherweight.....

I need to see this, I hate signing for any more services, but in a way, this is like Karass vs Kamagai. I don't mind a hometown decision as long as the ref stays out of it. I can't complain about the competition level, the matchmaking is getting better.
