Yeah, it's definitely up there in the top 5 as far as quality of the fighters, the punch itself and how it landed. Was hoping nobody would bring it up but it was very similar to the JMM/Pac knockout. JMM really punched through Pac's face. Martinez had ridiculous snap to his punch but he didn't really try to kill Paul there, he tried to set him up with the overhand left and then finish him off with the right hook I think, that was going to be the KO shot. When he realized the left landed he didn't even bother anymore.

Smoke came out of Martinez' glove! Fighting a bigger guy. The punisher, who slapped Marg around.. Wow!!

Canelo v Kirkland, because the cameras were in the right place and captured the raw brutality of it, which they happily replayed repeatedly.
Pac was the highest profile but he just went face down so it was *meh* compared to seeing Kirkland's face contort, saliva/blood fly, the spin, and him crash with a vacant face. Truly theatric.

And yeah, although I am a fan of Francisco Vargas, I honestly thought the Huck KO was fight of the year only because it was 2 very large men throwing bombs until ones brain couldnt take it anymore. I know it was a Cruiserweight fight but it reminded me of an old school Heavyweight fight with 2 big guys not wanting to leave it to the judges...

Why would floyd ever be knocked out brutally, nobody puts him under any pressure to ko anyone. All he does is go through a fight trying not to get hit.
When pac beat Ssm 12 rounds to zero the topic of conversation was pac couldn't cut off the ring and stop him.
