My respect just continues to grow for Tyson Fury.

How can you not like the guy? He isn't afraid to speak his mind and be honest but still knows how to have fun, he is passionate about the sport, and is entertaining in the ring.

As a minority I totally see where he is coming from, and as a man, I applaud him and his "as long as I get rich IDGAF" attitude!

Racially they are white British/Irish for the vast majority. Theres no racism involved. Honestly, even if they were black, i doubt racism would even be that prevelant.. This isn't America

Being a 'gypsy' is a way of life, and we all discriminate peoples life's choices everyday. Some of the things 'gypsies' do are a little too ******* (or traditional) for a lot of people, and thats fine. Im sure the opposite also applies. I think a lot of what the rich elite do in the UK is abhorrent, but they arent a race despite all being married and interbred with eachother.

This victim mentality shocks me from Fury.. He seems the kind to do whatever he likes irrespective of what others think, and I respected that.

Mexican, Filipino, etc aren't "races" either but if you insult them people will still call you racist. Not much different from people insulting Fury for his cultural background.

Racism doesn't have much of anything to do with anthropological race in the modern usage. I wish it did, gets old seeing people misuse it, but Tyson is just using it the same way everyone else does.

Romani aren't really a defined genetic group either. Pretty much any group of poor people who migrated out of the Indian subcontinent into Europe during a certain period were classified as Romani based on the resultant culture, even though they originally spanned a pretty wide/mixed racial spectrum and their lifestyle is their main identifying trait. It's hardly different.

I have a feeling Fury doesn't mind that much though. How much of a gypsy can the guy be, he's a multimillionaire.
