    Dimitry Bivol vs Felix Valera

Just seen that Bivol is fighting a guy called Felix Valera on the Wilder vs Povetkin card. I've been very impressed with what I've seen from Bivol, he's gonna be a problem for sure. Anyone seen much of Valera? He's 13-0 with 12KOs and looks pretty decent based on a few short youtube clips of him.

Valera isn't particularly impressive but he is ok, certainly a good fight as Bivol is still very inexperienced, they are certainly moving Bivol very fast which I like. This card is really good.

Yep, he's nothing above C level, but a very good opponent for somebody with only 6 pro fights, like you said Bivol is being moved along very fast.

175 is absolutely loaded. I'd love to see Bivol fight Gonzalez in August/September, then Shabranksyy at the end of the year. I think he's good enough to beat both NOW.

Yeah it does look like we might be moving into one of the most competitive light-heavyweight eras in history. It looks like there is a high probability that Shabranskyy will either be Kovalev's or Ward's summer opponent. If Bivol defeats Valera then the WBA will probably call on him and Braehmer to fight.

That would be great, Braehmer is average, Bivol beats him for sure. The WBA aren't strict with their mandatories though.

Well the WBA are making some attempt, albeit still inconsistently, to clear up their multiple champions nonsense so I think there is a good chance they will mandate the regular champion to fight the interim as Kovalev is the super and actually has other belts so they won't call for Braehmer to face Kovalev because neither party wants that right now and Bivol has Ryabinsky and his money backing him so he should get the Braehmer fight if his team demand it. Then again maybe Cleverly will get a shot at Braehmer first, i'm not sure what is happening with that.

The Russian card was the best card of last year, this looks like a contender for the best of this year.
