Malik Scott = worst voluntary defense for a world title in years

Well either this one or Frankie Gavin for Kell Brook. Either way Eddie Hearn is winning the award for it.

I'd say it's the worst since Audley Harrison fought David Haye for the WBA belt.

At least Rod Salka wasn't for the belt.

I'm still hoping this Malik Scott business is just some sick joke.

        This is Eddie Hearn though...

It will be a Eddie Hearn PPV spectacular expect the usual band of no hopers to be on the card. I guess the only good fight they might put on it is Jamie McDonnell unification fight, but I doubt they'd get the champions to fight away from home.

I can see it now from Hearn on ifl. "We're gonna properly stack the card. We already got Bellew vs Azerbajenko which will be a real barnburner. Aaaaand we're looking at making the Rose Macklin rematch so it's all looking good"

This is worse than Frankie Gavin.

In Brook's defence, they were trying to get Khan in the ring around the time of the Gavin fight. It still wasn't a great defence but better than fighting a guy who got stopped by Chisora.

Nathan Cleverly will have a dodgy Eddie Hearn special final eliminator/interim world title fight on the card too.
