Should There Be a Mayweather-Pacquiao Rematch?

But I agree a Manny W would be huge because of it being over Floyd, that is a fair point, but in the bigger picture I feel as though most fans would be quick to jump on the "Ahh they are tied, they just need to go again" and it would seem tiresome as hell seeing as it would be all you would hear for a long long time. People still argue about their actual fight and that was a year ago. BUT, that being said, as the years go by and it became 'history' THEN it would be seen as a massive deal, I agree.
I just don't see the rematch but like I said, in this game, who knows.

Since Pac didn't get a fair shake with all the murkiness on that fight. A rematch is a must watch since Pac really did tear his rotator cuff and a healthy Pac would have been a different fight altogether. An exhibition fight with a green light for carnage should be their farewell fight for them. After all, they are the 2 best boxers in the game it is only fitting to close the curtain together. I have a feeling if no bayless on that fight, and Floyd is not allowed to clinch excessively by a ref we got an exciting barn burner fight in our hands.
Still Nothing will be concluded, but at least we get to watch the best of the sport has to offer one last time.
Say they rematch and Manny scores a W, aside from adding more history to his legend in eventually beating Floyd, what does it do for the casuals and biased fanbases of both guys? It would just make them cry for a third bout, and that just seems all the more unlikely too me, so in terms of the rivalry we are still left with controversy and little answers as to who is 'the man'.
As I said in another post, who knows...Nobody can say for sure what will happen in this sport, but these too rematching is just something I personally do not see.

I am a fan of this sport and of both guys, of course I would get into it if they where to go again. I just mean in terms of how unlikely it is for it to happen and the increased unlikeliness for a rubber match should Manny win a rematch...I just don't see it. It is too messy, too much to clear up etc and too much BS with fanbases to ever leave us all with a clear answer.

The plots:
Will Floyd make it 50-0 against his rival?
Will Pac healthy shoulder make a difference?
It is only to feature the last fight of these 2 boxers as they end it properly together as the curtains go down for the last time of their stellar career. Who's better to end it with than with each other.
This is for the fans of the sport. A farewell fight for both combatants and logic tells us that it will be better this time around. A 2 handed healthy Pac vs a clean Floyd with vada testing. I know it's a long shot. But, I'm just getting it out there. Plus the fact both boxers based on their history do great on their rematches.
Yes, Nothing will be conclusive since they are not in their prime, but that said, even if they are not in their prime anymore we will still be able to appreciate the 2 best boxers of this era duke it out one last time, since they are still in the top p4p to most even to this day.
It only becomes irrelevant if this 2 past their prime boxers are out of the p4p standings, that can be said as a nonsense fight, but the thing is they are still the best the sport has to offer, I say that's good reason enough to warrant a fight. To see the 2 go at it one last time. The one who wins will go out on a high note, the one who loses will carry that forever. There is still sense for this 2 to fight. Evident to this poll.
Will I want to see Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant in the same court for a basketball exhibition past their prime? Hell yes I will still watch that.
Will I want to see Pac and Floyd in the same ring although past their prime, but still top p4p nonetheless duke it out? He'll yes! Off course, if you really are a boxing aficionado you will take it.
Anyway, just my 2 cents. Cheers!Last edited by Spoon23; 04-28-2016, 09:46 PM.

I am glad you are back, I missed your idiotic threads. Your public poll isn't going well, but it is accurate. Objectivity and accuracy are what you lack. Many see you as a t@rd, I prefer hard core fan.
Welcome back buddy!!
