Tyson Fury a victim of racism

The greatest heavyweight of his generation has recently come forward to speak about the horrible racist treatment he has received since he became the hw King.

Fury said that "no one wants to see a gypsy do well" and that he is being discriminated against based solely on his background.

In this day and age this type of bigoted behavior is appalling. My prayers are with Fury and his family and hopefully these cowards are prosecuted.

Seriously though he does get so much abuse and called all sorts of things relating to be a Gypsy all over social media.

People should realise that Travellers are protected and classed as a race under the racial discrimination act in the UK. So by people saying what they say, it's no different than going on a black fighters twitter and calling them a nigg3r in the eyes of the law.

Even on this site he gets a lot of discrimination for it. I think the Admin's need to keep up with that and realise it's a serious matter. For some reason everyone seems to think it's ok.

It's not about being a fan of him or not, there's just no place for that kind of abuse.

Some may not class them as a race, but rightly or wrongly by law they're protected under the racial discrimination act.
