Big fan off collazo i think his style might prove a problem for Hatton but i think the presure tht hatton will put Collazo under will be the major force in this fight, stoppage 4 hatton before round 10.

Collazo is very underrated. Him winning the fight is very possible. If i had to pick a winner right now, i'm picking Collazo. This fight. Fight. Not the fighters, reminds me of a similar situation. When Donald Curry fought Lloyd Honeyghan. Curry had all eyes on him. It was Curry this, Currry that. Honeyghan who was a good fighter was just about ignored. A Curry win was suppose to be a givin. Everybody wanted to know Curry's future plans. Kind of what everybody is doing with Hatton. Collazo who is a good fighter is not getting the credit he deserves. But he will after this fight.

um he will get about as much respect as he gets now...aint that much, he's second tier while ricky is in top 10 P-4-P

I know all the shades will pick Collazo to win, but eevry one else knows Ricky gonna knock aLL the ink off the lil bannana picker. I say he gets starch befor 7...I'll bet any takers?

I dont have a good feeling about this, Hatton has to come all the way to USA where he isnt used to fighting here, the crowd is probably going to be against him, his moral might be a little more down than usual, this could be a turnpoint for Hatton...

I'm guessing that the reason why Hatton picked Collazo is he wants to try to face a slick fighter who's about as tall as PBF (who is 5'8, while Collazo is 5'9) and has the same reach as Floyd (72). That Collazo is a southpaw while Mayweather is orthodox, may have been something that was over-looked, or, one that Hatton wanted to try anyway just to see what happens. Hatton is seeing that Collazo does not have the sting in his punches that Mayweather has, so he's betting that he can get through the jabs and whatever else Collazo may have to offer.

The bonus is that if he wins decisively and handles Collazo well, that can be peddled (as part of the hype) that Hatton can handle Mayweather.

Hatton's trainer, however, seems to be afraid that the whole thing could blow up on their faces.

                      Just guessing....
