i'm going for the underdog in this one. i think the quickness will be too much for hatton.

Im going to predict a late stoppage for Hatton.Although I think
Collazo will give Ricky trouble early on.I have no real
preference to who wins this fight.May the best man win!

Hatton wasn't too impressive in his last outing, and that was against an Maussa who is clearly an inferior talent compared to Collazo. There is little doubt that if Hatton can perform the way he did against Tszyu that he will run over anybody in the division. The question is can he do it again?

i'm sure but in the 140lb division. its a different ballgame at 147. he's fighting someone that has fought at that weight his whole life. it makes it a little more interesting.
of course hatton is the favorite. but an upset will be nice.

This is the fight as i see it. Callazo, slick southpaw that he is, will avoid hatton's shots and shoot out the jab which will land clean for the first one or two rounds. Hattons workrate is high but he's not landing clean
                2 rounds to callazo

Hatton adjusts and starts blocking or moving his head the right way to make Callazo miss with the jab. Callazo is a thinker, and he knows he can't go toe to toe so he sticks with his jab with the occasional left shooting out straight. Hatton still on the defensive mostly, slipping some punches. round 3 and 4 collazos too

Hatton, in round 5, gets the key to his victory. He starts putting more pressure on callazo and his shots start landing more. He's crowding callazo, and scores a big right hand with collazo on the ropes. Callazo doesn't fall and so no KD but he's clearly hurt.
Hatton puts more pressures on this round but the round ends.

Similar to round 5, except that in round 6 collazo is not throwing as much because he's tasted Hattons power and is more careful. Hatton is punishing him with body blows. Collazo lands a big left hand, but Hatton sucks it up and keeps on crowding

Round 7 is much the same

                Round 5 6 and 7 to hatton

in round 8, Hatton comes out of his corner quickly and from the first second starts taking the fight to Callazo. Callazo can't handle the pressure and is being bullied into the corners/ropes and is on his back foot shooting out the jab, which is landing consistently.

one minute 45 seconds into the fight, Hatton lands a big shot similar to the one he floored Maussa with. Collazo takes it and stumbles but doesn't fall. Hatton smells the kill and mixes it up between head and body, patiently waiting for Callazo to fall while punishing both above and below. Callazo tries to fight back but gets hit with a left hook followed by a barrage of rights and lefts. He goes down but gets back up, and Hatton carries on. Callazo is up against the ropes now, leaning back on them, and Hatton is throwing punches non stop. Callazo isn't responding and the ref stops the fight at 2:36.

Hatton will win, the Maussa fight meant nothing, Maussa would be awkward for anyone he has that type of style!

He will however found Collazo difficult (he finds southpaws difficult IMO) but will as always find a way to win!

I'm pulling for Hatton, but Collazo will be a much tougher test than Maussa thats for sure.
