I can see them selling it as Floyds record breaking 50th fight and Manny being healthy this time around and fool even half the people as the first time and they got their 2 million right there...I say it's easy...

They would have to do a good job promoting it but there are a lot of lingering feelings about both fighters and their relation to each other.


If they do it again I just hope they pack the card with up and comers in good fights to really introduce those guys to a wider audience. The main event would be pretty much the same fight, so give the audience something else to really remember that night and helps build the future.

Absolutely. I think they did a piss poor job of promoting the first fight & that fight mighta did 6M+ buys if they had pushed harder. I was expecting lower numbers the first time around cuz of that piss poor job. I think they throw a lil more spin on a rematch & it does 2M buys in its sleep.

That said it ain't happening. Floyd is a 39 year old boxing promoter. Manny is less than a month away from being a 37 year old senator. Let these guys get on with the next stage of their lives.
